Our Turmeric Complex also contains three additional superfoods shown to fight inflammation and repair DNA. Unlike other similar products, we use all organic, whole food ingredients in order to get each superfood’s full spectrum of nutrients while avoiding the pesticides and herbicides so prevalent in our food system today.
We also added organic coconut oil and black pepper to enhance absorption and bioavailability of each powerful superfood.
What Makes Turmeric Complex So Powerful?
1. Full Spectrum, Whole Food, Organic Turmeric
Most “turmeric” supplements only contain one specific compound found in turmeric root – curcumin. Turmeric in whole food form has been found to be more powerful than isolated curcumin while also containing nearly 300 other beneficial components. While curcumin is powerful, research has found that turmeric with curcumin completely removed still contains incredible health benefits likely from the other nutritional compounds. We only use organic, whole food turmeric in our Turmeric Complex.
2. Four Inflammation-Fighting Superfoods
Turmeric Complex contains not one but four powerful superfoods: turmeric, ginger, rosemary, and cloves. In a recent study, these were found to be the most potent spices for reducing inflammation and protecting against oxidative stress.
3. Protection Against DNA Damage
Our DNA gets damaged every day. DNA damage in our body is vital for long term health. In a human trial, turmeric, ginger, and rosemary were the most powerful and effective superfoods for protecting against DNA strand breaks.
4. Better Absorption
Turmeric Complex contains both organic coconut oil powder and organic black pepper in order to increase absorption. Our goal is to make the nutrient-rich superfoods and the compounds found in each as bioavailable as possible. Some studies have shown that the compounds in turmeric are more easily absorbed when taken with a healthy fat such as coconut oil.
